Thomson Website Solutions is part of Thomson Software Solutions, the leading supplier of software for vision assessment and screening in the UK. The company was founded by Professor David Thomson over 20 years ago and has developed a reputation for developing innovative software and providing the highest level of customer service.
For a number of years, our users have been asking us to add website development to our portfolio of services - so here it is. We have gathered an expert team of web developers, graphic designers and copy writers and our mission is to create stunning, modern and clean websites for very affordable prices. Our websites are built using 'Responsive Design' - meaning that they can be viewed across many platforms including phones and tablet devices.
The CMS (content management system) we use is WordPress. This is constantly updated and adapted with the most recent styles and themes so you don't have to worry about your website becoming outdated!
If you have social media accounts, we can link your website to these so that clients can easily navigate there. Alternatively, if you don't have social media accounts this is something we can setup as an optional extra.
We can purchase your domain name or use an existing one you have purchased. This means it's up to you how you want to use it in future, whether you renew with us or not. We can also sort out all your hosting so you don't have to worry if your website is online or not.
We will set out a specific date as to when your website will be completed, depending on the package you choose. This means no waiting around in 'limbo', not knowing when your site will be ready, but a confirmed date as to when you'll be up and running!

Social media is a powerful tool to further extend your presence on the web. We can create accounts for your practice, link them to your website and maintain the content posted on each App, updating them using maintenance credits.
Maintenance Credits
There is nothing so off putting as a website that is never updated. To this end, we include 'maintenance credits' with all of our packages which provides you with a certain amount of developer time each year.
Eye-care videos
We have a range of over 50 high quality animations to help explain common eye conditions to visitors of your site. All animations have been story boarded by Prof Thomson and produced by the leading developer of medical animations in the UK.
